Dedicated to the performance of sacred music from varied religious traditions and historical periods, Angelus performs music ranging from medieval chant and polyphony to the American Sacred Harp tradition and contemporary Irish sacred music.

"Angelus was an absolute delight! The young women sang with poise and enthusiasm. They clearly love the music they sing, and that love was contagious. Angelus has recorded their first professional CD, "Sacred Expressions" and it is available by contacting Mr Taylor at the MVHS Performing Arts Department or online through Anderson Video Productions. Their 2010 recording,  "Hymns to the Virgin" is available and  features Marian chants, hymns as well as contemporary Irish works and more and is available by contacting the high school at 812-833-5932.

The ensemble's Summer 2010 recording  "Concert at St. Benedict Cathedral" is available for downlaod only at Amazon.com, iTunes.com and other media outlets. Featuring a wide variety of works, the recording includes compositions by Michael McGlynn, Ruth Cunningham and Donald Kendrick.

Angelus will release its newest recording "The Music of Michael McGlynn" on Nov. 1, 2011. Featuring sacred and secular works by our favorite composer, selections include "Lorica", "Geantrai", "Mariam Matrem Virginem" and "The Wild Song".
